Have you been on holiday to the island of Kefalonia? If not then consider Kefalonia holidays because they are great for the entire family. Kefalonia is one of the Greek islands. It is not one of the most popular but that means you have a chance to enjoy it before if is found out.

What sort of holidays do you prefer? Is it a relaxing holiday by the beach in the sunny weather? Is it culture? Why not combine the two? Kefalonia holidays appeal to a very wide group because there is so much to do.

Do you like sampling a little of the local culture when on holiday? Greek islands are fascinating because there is so much history there. Many of the historical places and ruins have been well looked after so you can gain a lot from going.

Do you like to spend a lot of you time on holiday relaxing on the beach? Well I wouldn’t blame you if you are and you are bound to love Kefalonia holidays if that is the case. The beaches in Kefalonia are some of the best in Greece. Although a bit pebbly they are very clean and allow access to the cool ocean seas.

Unless you go for something that is very exclusive much of where you will stay will be basic but clean. Most of it will be as you get on the other islands around Greece. You will find most of the hotels are small and owned by local families and often you will see members of the family working there. This usually makes for a very friendly atmosphere. There are more upmarket hotels and obviously they will be more expensive. Perhaps you should treat yourself.

Local tender is the Euro and you should change some before you arrive. You don’t have to change everything you might need as the local banks will change the local currencies. Don’t worry most shops and restaurants accept debit and credit cards.

I am sure that if this is your first, it will end up being one of many Kefalonia holidays. You want to enjoy your holidays and I expect that you will here!
