September 6th, 2010 by admin Leave a reply »

The 2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon starts today (Sep. 5) and concludes on Labor Day. The annual fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be broadcast from Las Vegas’ South Point hotel-hotel. Get details about the telethon.

There’s also an online auction that runs through Sep. 16. Find out more here.

We enjoyed this heartwarming performance by Five for Fighting’s John Ondrasik at last year’s telethon, and there’s tons of entertainment in store on this year’s broadcast.

The scheduled entertainers for this year’s telethon include Paris Las Vegas legend Barry Manilow, Flamingo headliner George Wallace, Enrique Iglesias and many others.

Here’s a great interview with Jerry Lewis by John Katsilometes at the Las Vegas Sun. Who’s the biggest star of the show this year? The kids, of course.

Check your local TV listings for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, then watch and pledge. Good mojo, in Vegas or not.
